American Kenda Rubber Industrial says the second generation Kenetica touring tire provides significantly upgraded performance com- pared to its popular KR17 at a comparable value price point. The new tire features lower weight and reduced noise while providing strong wet braking and year-round traction, including light snow. The company says the Push Reports tool boosts shop performance by automatically providing managers with actionable data from their Hunter inspection technology. Shops can use Push Reports to set daily performance goals and better identify presented, achieved and missed opportunities to sell alignments and tires. HUNTER ENGINEERING CO. www.hunter.com ATG adds a snow tire for MFWA tractors Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has released the Alliance 551 Mul- tiuse Professional, a steel-belted radial designed for modified front-wheel-drive assist (MFWA) tractors operating in snow and ice. The Alliance 551 features an R-3 block tread pattern with variable-depth sipes that provide extra biting surfaces as well as directional channels to clear snow and slush from the tread surface. Steel belts provide a broad footprint for improved traction and stability. The Alliance 551 is rated for speeds up to 40 mph (65 km/h). The company says the new lamp provides up to 200% brighter light when compared to standard, minimum legal requirements in fog head- lamp test results. The lamp is a plug-and- play replacement for any domestic vehicle equipped with H8, H11 or H16 halogen fog lights. Philips X-tremeUltinon LED fog lamps deliver up to 6,500K color temperature for a crisp, bright white look that matches perfectly with HID (high-intensity discharge) and LED headlights. LUMILEDS LLC www.lumileds.com Cooper adds RM351 HD for mixed-service applications The new Roadmaster RM351 HD from Cooper Tire & Rubber comes in two sizes: 11R22.5 and 11R24.5, in load range H. Engineered for mixed-service applications such as construction, logging and mining operations, the tire is designed for both on- and off-road driving. The Roadmas- ter RM351 HD is a full inch wider than its predecessor, the RM300 HH, with a 20% larger footprint. The company says that the RM351 HD provides up to 25% more miles to removal, depending upon the application. Permatex says the formu- lation completely removes tough carbon, oil and grease without the need for petroleum solvents, abrasives or acids. A proprietary corrosion-inhibiting formula prevents flash rusting.
