MTD January 2016 News/views Marangoni adds two dealers The Marangoni Tread North America dealer network has two new members: Quality Tire & Service LLC of Munford, Tenn., and Industrial Tire of CNY LLC. Quality Tire & Service will offer Marangoni's signature brand Ringtread to the greater Memphis area. The company has been serving the west Tennessee area since 1996. Quality Tire & Service sells, services and repairs new and retread commercial tires and offers 24/7 commercial on-site tire service and feet checks. The company's retread plant has a capacity of more than 35,000 retreads per year. In addition to its commercial outlet, the company has a retail store offering passenger tire sales and automotive services. Industrial Tire of CNY has joined the Marangoni network as a Unitread independent retreader. Located in Syracuse, N.Y., the company is family owned and operated. Owner Dennis Beaudette founded the company more than a decade ago. He says it will continue to operate in the family for another gen- eration as his two sons, DJ and Marty, are following in his footsteps. Industrial Tire of CNY operates a retread plant with a capacity of more than 25,000 retreads a year. Industrial Tire of CNY also offers commercial new and retread tires, road service, mounting and demounting, balancing, rim reconditioning, and semi-truck aluminum wheel polishing. Bauer Built opens new location Bauer Built Inc. has opened an outlet in Bismarck, N.D. The state of North Dakota is under-served in the commercial tire business, according to Tad Bauer, the company's president. "We've outgrown the ability to serve these customers effectively from our Fargo location. By opening in Bismarck, we can deliver products and services critical to this market." Bauer Built has been in business 71 years servicing the Midwest with tires and expanded light mechanical services. With the addition of the Bismarck location, Bauer Built now has 37 outlets, seven Michelin Retread Technology plants, and four wheel-refnishing operations. The company also operates a bulk petroleum business out of its headquarters in Durand, Wis.
